Household detergents remove a broad range of stains from fiber surfaces. Water soluble stains are easily removed during washing. There are other stains which are removed by surfactants and other chemical elements of washing detergents. Detergent enzymes are active at the pH 7 to 11 and temperatures up to 60oC which are normal washing conditions. They also are compatible with other chemical detergent components and enzymes.
