 Laundry Detergent Enzymes

Household detergents remove a broad range of stains from fiber surfaces. Water soluble stains are easily removed during washing. There are other stains which are removed by surfactants and other chemical elements of washing detergents. Detergent enzymes are active at the pH 7 to 11 and temperatures up to 60oC which are normal washing conditions. They also are compatible with other chemical detergent components and enzymes.

 Alkaline Protease

Proteases hydrolyze proteins into peptides and amino acids. They can degrade protein stains on fabrics and surfaces into water soluble fragments which could easily be removed by washing.

Appearance: Liquid, Powder

EFFICIENT pH RANGE: 8 ~ 11

EFFICIENT TEMPERATURE RANGE: 35 ~ 70 oC

ACTIVITY: 150,000 U/g

STORAGE CONDITION: dry and cool place in closed containers at ambient temperature

SHELF LIFE: 12 Months in closed containers

Alkaline Lipase

Lipases hydrolyze triglycerides in fats and oil stains. A triglyceride is composed of three fatty acid moieties linked to a glycerol which is hydrolyzed to mono and diglycerides, fatty acids and glycerol. It is notable that these products are all soluble under alkaline wash conditions.

Appearance: Liquid, Powder

EFFICIENT pH RANGE: 6 ~ 10

EFFICIENT TEMPERATURE RANGE: 25 ~ 55 oC

ACTIVITY: 150,000 U/g

STORAGE CONDITION: dry and cool place in closed containers at ambient temperature

SHELF LIFE: 12 Months in closed containers

Alkaline Cellulase

The surface of textiles becomes gradually damaged because of stresses and wearing. The worn yarns form fibrils which affect color brightness and appearance, they also can absorb dust particles, and so, they need to be removed.  Cellulases cleave β-1,4 glycosidic bonds in cellulose of cotton fibers. Endo cellulases or endoglucanases catalyze endo-hydrolysis of β-1,4 glycosidic bonds in cellulose. Removal of soils, softening, and color brightness are main and unique roles of cellulases in enzyme formulation of detergents.

Appearance: Liquid, Powder

EFFICIENT pH RANGE: 6 ~ 9

EFFICIENT TEMPERATURE RANGE: 45 ~ 65 oC
